Trust & security/Verification

How we verify specialists

This page explains the trust signals you see on CareMatch (for example “credential-verified listing”). It is a high-level overview — not a legal contract — and works alongside our Terms and specialist onboarding materials.

  1. Step 1

    Application & primary-source checks

Specialists submit credentials and identity materials. Our credentialing team performs primary-source verification steps appropriate to the jurisdiction — for example contacting the relevant medical register where applicable.

  2. Step 2

    Identity review

Identity documents are reviewed using our documented identity workflow (including automated analysis where configured) before a listing can proceed.

  3. Step 3

    Dual sign-off

No specialist profile is marked verified for patient discovery until two authorised credentialing reviewers have approved the application.

  4. Step 4

    Listing rules

Public browse surfaces are designed so patients cannot reconstruct direct contact details from a profile alone; richer contact pathways unlock only after a subscribed patient connection is accepted.

  5. Step 5

    Ongoing monitoring

Licence expiry and discipline monitoring schedules are described in our specialist Help FAQ. Renewals and material profile changes can trigger re-review.

Important: CareMatch verification confirms onboarding and credentialing steps on our platform. It is not a guarantee of clinical outcomes, and it does not replace your own judgement when choosing care.
